Hasnoor Hussain

Born in 1986 in Perlis, Malaysia

He picked up the camera in his early 20s and has been a photographer ever since. Hasnoor was a project coordinator at the National Institute for Electoral Integrity (NIEI) before working for The Malaysia Insider until the website was blocked on 25th of February 2016 and subsequently shutted down. In March 2017, he is among the earliest staff starting a portal The Malaysia Insight and continuing reporting in visual form; still picture and video.

Hasnoor choosing visual form to deliver stories close to his heart that touch on environmental and social justice to public and empower them through his work. He is willing to learn and practice others medium if it leaves better impact to public.
