Michael Loke (b. 1972, Singapore) is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Singapore. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts from The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technologies and was formally trained as a sculptor from LASALLE-SIA College of the Arts.He is currently pursuing his Masters in Artist Educator. Michael has been teaching in various institutes such as schools and polytechnics with students age group ranging from pre-school to primary to secondary and currently tertiary levels. Michael would like to see himself foremost as an educator educating the future generation through the world of art. With a fascination for the human form, Michael’s past works featured the human figure very prominently and he is constantly exploring the different depiction of the human figure. Michael is currently a part-time lecturer at Lasalle College of the Arts.
