Eats, Shoots & Roots is a social enterprise with a simple aim:
to empower urban communities with the skills and tools to grow their own food. Founded in 2012, the social enterprise has a core in design and focusses on designing edible gardens, edible garden education and supplying edible gardening goods to enable people to manage their own edible gardens in their backyards.
They have since built more than 30 edible gardens, run more than 40 workshops, sold more than 5000 products, and won 3 awards for the work that they have done: Arthur Guinness Fund – Entrepreneurs for Good Award 2013, British Council Video Journalism Award 2014, Scope UnLtd Award 2015.
