Dominique Baron-Bonarjee is an artist based between London, Berlin and working internationally. Through a multi-disciplinary approach she examines the body and its relations to identity and socio-political structures of self. Her current work is an ongoing inquiry into the body as material, and as object, simultaneously malleable, resistant and enmeshed within inanimate dimensions. Living experience becomes a place from which to observe affect and transformation through change, manifested in spatio-temporal encounters. Through a process of embodied research, Dominique engenders outcomes as theoretical constellations combining liveness, choreography, moving image, drawing, objects and texts. She holds an Master of Arts from Central St Martin’s, and is currently a PhD researcher in the Art Department at Goldsmith’s University of London.
