Yukari Ishiguro (b. Japan) is a recent graduate from the MFA program from Musashino Art University (MUA). She took part in Tropical Lab 8, which she considered as a stepping board for her to engage in conversation with like-minded artists, to create a rippling effect, to be able to influence one another artistically. She is very much drawn to the collaborative element and looks forward to the possibility of future collaborations with her peers at Tropical Lab 8. One of her paintings entitled UG passage was used for a bouldering gym in Tokyo, for an artist-in-residence project named UNDER GROUND.
